Skill Development Centre in Autonagar in 3 months: MP

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) has announced that a Skill Development Centre will be established in Autonagar of Vijayawada city within three months to help the 1,00,000 workers of the automobile sector adapt to changing technologies. The MP announced this during a meeting with leaders from 32 automobile associations held at the NTR Bhavan on Thursday.
MP Chinni enquired about the needs of the associations for their development. He also discussed the benefits of forming clusters within the associations and shared details about subsidies offered by the Central government. He said that alternative routes are being prepared to ease the congestion caused by ongoing construction, including a flyover from NTR Health University to Nidamanuru and metro works already initiated in Autonagar.
Sivanath emphasised the importance of transport in the upcoming Amaravati projects, stating that the automobile sector must be prepared for this demand. He assured that small issues faced by Autonagar will be resolved by the government shortly, and urged the association leaders to form clusters. He promised to work with those concerned to facilitate loans through these clusters, and offer support in terms of space for their establishment.
Besides, MP Chinni highlighted that establishing silk development centres in Autonagar would enhance skills and create job opportunities for many. He stated that improving employment prospects for the youth in NTR district is his primary goal, and he believes that the automobile sector has a bright future ahead. He urged all workers in Autonagar to technically upgrade themselves to meet these challenges.
