Young India Skills University started by the State government aims to prepare skilled professionals, said IT Minister D Sridhar Babu, after inaugurating Data Economy’s new workstation at HYTEC City on Sunday. He emphasised Hyderabad’s rapid evolution as a global hub for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies.
This new workstation aims to provide innovative tech solutions. On this occasion, Sridhar Babu highlighted Hyderabad’s appeal to global enterprises, crediting its skilled workforce and excellent infrastructure. He appreciated Data Economy for its advancements in quantum computing, digital twins, and data transfer technologies and assured full government support for its growth and expansion.
Sridhar Babu also mentioned the state’s commitment to talent development through the newly launched Young India Skills University, which aims to prepare skilled professionals for the industry. He encouraged software companies to expand into tier-2 and tier-3 cities for balanced regional development.
The Minister expressed optimism about Hyderabad’s growing startup ecosystem, AI centres, quantum computing hubs and data centres, which he believes will create substantial job opportunities. He also urged Data Economy to actively contribute to the proposed AI City, appreciating its plans to hire 500 more employees in Hyderabad by next year.
The company representatives Ravi Kopuri, Jawahar and Roshan Kumar also participated in the event.
