Small artistes not working without vanity van: Brahmaji

Senior actor Brahmaji is playing a major role in the upcoming film ‘Baapu’. Daya is the director and the film is releasing on February 21. The teaser was unveiled by actor Vishwak Sen at a function in Hyderabad. On this occasion, Brahmaji thanked Vishwak for attending the event. “For many films, Chiranjeevi used to come to give his blessing. Now, for small films Vishwak Sen is supported very well. Though he is busy with his upcoming film ‘Laila’, he came to this function to support our film,” said Brahmaji about Vishwak Sen. He added that because of actors like Vishwak, the industry is doing well.
Talking about the film ‘Baapu’, Brahmaji said that director Daya narrated the story to him and he liked it very much. “Though there are some budget constraints, we wanted to complete it and we did it. These days, a small actor is also not coming to shoot if there is no vanity van. But we are all working for this film in a village near Karimnagar without any vanity van,” said Brahmaji. He added that everyone in this film worked hard to do a good film.
“This is not a regular film; it’s a different story and I know Telugu audiences encourage good films and I hope this film also does well,” said the actor. He also thanked Rashmika for releasing the teaser on her social media. “She didn’t ask the film details. When we asked her, she immediately said ‘yes’ and released the teaser. She is very talented and at the same time very down-to-earth person,” said Brahmaji about Rashmika.
Aamani, Dhanya Balakrishna, Balagam Sudhakar, Avasarala and Mani Egurla also played important roles in it. Dhruvan provided the music, while it is produced by Raju and Ch Bhanuprasad Reddy.
