Must read

As Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya prepare for their grand wedding, the pre-wedding festivities are in full swing. Not long ago, Sobhita performed the Raata ceremony, a significant ritual in Telugu traditions, wearing heirloom jewellery passed down from her mother and grandmother.
A close source revealed, “She adorned jewellery pieces from her mother and grandmother, making the moment even more special and emotional for her.” The Raata ceremony involves planting a sacred bamboo stick adorned with mango, jamun and Jammi leaves. Rituals include worshipping the stick with sacred elements such as pancha loha (five metals), navaratan (nine gems), and navadhaanya (nine grains), along with prayers to the pancha bhuta (five elements) and directional deities.
This ritual purifies and blesses the bride ahead of her wedding.Following this, Sobhita participated in the Mangalasnaanam, the Telugu equivalent of the Haldi ceremony, where turmeric paste is applied to the bride as part of the pre-wedding cleansing process. Sobhita, radiant in her traditional attire, exuded elegance during the ceremonies. The couple, affectionately called #SoChay by fans, looked picture-perfect, leaving everyone eagerly awaiting their union.
