Social media abuzz with Sania Mirza, Shoaib Malik divorce rumours

Remember the 2004 Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta starrer Veer-Zaara? The film showed us an inspiring cross border love story of Veer Pratap Singh and Zaara Haayat Khan. Just like the film, we had a real-life inspiring cross border love story.

You might have guessed it by now! If not, we are talking about the sports couple Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis player Sania Mirza. The hurdles that came their way, didn’t dissuade  their spirit. Instead, they redefined love altogether, standing strong together.  

The moment the news of their wedding had hit the headlines, came several controversies and threats on their way. However, the couple did not let anything come between, and said qubool hai on April 12, 2010. However, it doesn’t seem like everything is fine between them. Internet and social media feeds are filled with the news of the couple parting ways. Ever since the news came out, social media is abuzz with netizens  expressing shock. Many even started trolling the duo citing the instance of how they got married amidst furour. According to several Pakistani media reports, Shoaib and Sania have drifted apart and have been living separately for some time now. Meanwhile, a few reports had also suggested that Malik had allegedly cheated on Sania during one of his TV shows.

A fuel-to-the-fire of the rumours was when both the couples had shared cryptic posts on their social media handles, respectively.Though, through the posts it seems like the couples have been living separately, none of the reports official confirmation of the divorce or the true reasons for the couple to part ways.However, neither of the stars have commented or confirmed anything as such. Well, we hope everything  between Sania and Shoaib gets fine soon.
