Collector Dilli Rao also said that parents and voluntary organisations should encourage girls to have a strong will to reach higher positions independently. He also called upon society to utilise all opportunities provided through government schemes for girl children, so that they can be leaders in all fields besides education and employment. The Collector said parents should teach kids Indian culture, tradition and family system right from childhood. He emphasised the need for conducting awareness programmes about discrimination and inequalities in all schools and colleges.
