Some Congress leaders are likely to join the BRS, said Telangana Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy who had a chit-chat with the media in his chamber on the Council’s premises.

The Telangana Dasabdi celebrations were organised grandly, thanks to the authorities, the public representatives and the people who helped to make it successful.

A special thanks to Chief Minister KCR for providing a great opportunity to explain the nine years of progress achieved by the Telangana government to the public.

“I will not contest anywhere in the next election. If my son Amit Reddy is given a chance by the party he will contest. We will win again 12 seats in 12 constituencies in our district. If changes are made new ones will have a chance. We will not go to another party for the sake of heirs. If the opportunity does not come we will support the nominated party candidate. Hereditary politics is useless but it is useful to get recognition,” he said.

He said commoners should dream but in Telangana, it is the BJP and the Congress which are daydreaming.

“The government is going to be formed for a third time under the leadership of KCR. BRS is all set to achieve a hat trick. KCR is the only leader who has a comprehensive understanding of Telangana state. Presidents of both national parties have no understanding of the state. They have no knowledge of the subject at all. Leaders of both national parties do not have the sense to say that we will do this if we come to power,” Gutha said.

“Khammam and Mahbubnagar leaders who say they will join the Congress are making a lot of assumptions about them. Internal bickering is natural in politics. There is no complete satisfaction with the leadership of the district. Whenever there are elections, additions, changes and additions are natural. BRS will get more seats in Khammam than in the 2018 elections,” he said.

He said that it is not a fact that Vemula Viresha will go to the Congress.

“Revanth gave the resignation letter to the party president instead of giving it to the Speaker. It is the Centre that needs to enact a law to stop defection. Such a Centre encourages defection. Until now the Central Government has done injustice to Telangana and has not done justice. The Centre failed to resolve the promises of bifurcation,” he said.
