Somireddy ‘assaults’ security staff at Krishnapatnam Port

Somireddy Chandrashekar Reddy, who had pledged to revive container terminal services at Adani Krishnapatnam Port, is now facing flak for allegedly assaulting security personnel at the port. According to reports, Somireddy led an ‘all-party delegation’ and tried to enter the port premises without following security protocols, demanding entry without inspection.
When the security staff insisted on carrying out their procedures, Somireddy allegedly got into a physical altercation. The situation escalated further when Somireddy entered the office of the Port CEO, reportedly using abusive language, prompting the CEO to leave the room in protest.
