Inorbit Mall Hyderabad, in collaboration with Nirmaan Organization and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), have launched Sparkling Cyberabad, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at enhancing urban cleanliness in the city. As part of this project, six automated electric litter pickup machines will be deployed across high-traffic areas to maintain sanitation and improve public spaces.
The machines will operate six days a week in key locations, including Kondapur’s Botanical Garden, Madhapur’s Inorbit Mall and Durgam Cheruvu Park, Hitech City’s Shilparamam Park and food streets, Hitex Arch, and Gachibowli’s DLF Street food area and Raidurg Metro Station. The initiative is expected to significantly enhance cleanliness in Hyderabad’s commercial and residential hubs, benefiting both residents and visitors.
As part of its commitment for sustainable urban development, Inorbit Mall Hyderabad is spearheading this initiative under Inorbit Cares, its broader CSR programme. The launch event saw participation from representatives of Inorbit Malls, K Raheja Corp, GHMC, Nirmaan Organization, and other stakeholders.
GHMC Zonal Commissioner for Serilingampally Zone, Upender Reddy, lauded the initiative, stating, “It is the first time that litter cleaning machines have been introduced in GHMC. We express gratitude to Inorbit Malls and K Raheja Corp for bringing about this transformative change that the city has been eagerly awaiting.”
Shravan Kumar Gone, Chief Operating Officer of K Raheja Corp (AP & Telangana), emphasized the project’s importance in fostering a cleaner environment. “We are proud to support this initiative, which is a significant step towards making Hyderabad a cleaner and more sustainable city,” he said.
Expressing enthusiasm for the project, Sharat Belavadi, AVP Operations – Inorbit Malls, highlighted the company’s commitment to community welfare.
