The Central government is organising a special campaign from July 3, 2023 to July 22 2023 for identification of SPARSH Pensioners & Grievance Redressal from the tri-services (Army, Navy & Air Force) in 23 districts across India.
As part of the same, a mass SPARSH outreach program was organised on 21-07-2023 for the Defence Pensioners at Ambedkar bhavan, Ongole by the Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA) Chennai, in association with Department of sainik welfare, AP and Headquarters TASA.
District Collector AS Dinesh Kumar, T Jayaseelan, IDAS Controller of Defence Accounts CDA), Chennai and Brig V.venkata reddy VSM, Director, Rajya Sainik Board, AP presided over the Event.
Collector AS Dinesh Kumar emphasized that pension is the right of the veterans who have toiled very hard for the nation and that it is the duty of the government to ensure “Right Pension at the Right time”.
T Jayaseelan, IDAS, Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA), Chennai stressed on the importance of coordinating the support schemes extended by Central and State governments to the veterans. He also highlighted that the March of technology enables “One stop one solution” for all pension related grievances through the SPARSH portal.
