Sree Vishnu’s Single trailer takes a dig at Manchu Vishnu?

Must read

Sree Vishnu’s latest film Single is gearing up for release soon. Ahead of the release, the makers unveiled the trailer on Monday. The trailer indicates that the film will be a hilarious ride. Sree Vishnu, along with comedian Vennela Kishore, delivers strong comic timing and punch lines. The film is directed by Caarthik Raju.

Once the trailer was released, a few lines caught attention for seemingly taking a dig at Manchu Vishnu and his film Kannappa. In Kannappa trailer, Manchu Vishnu shouts “Sivayya,” which became a meme. In Single, Sree Vishnu mimics this shout, which many believe is a deliberate spoof.

Additionally, at the end of the Single trailer, Sree Vishnu says, “Manchu kurisi pothundani…” which many netizens feel targets the Manchu family. This has become a trending topic on social media, fueling discussions about Single trolling the Manchus amid their family controversies.

So far, neither the director nor the producer of Single has responded. These days, some filmmakers include such elements in trailers for publicity, but they don’t always make it into the final cut. Whether these scenes will be retained in the film remains to be seen.
