Sreeleela is making waves not only in Telugu cinema but also in Bollywood. The actress is set to make her Hindi debut in an untitled film opposite Kartik Aaryan. Now, according to sources, she has landed another major Hindi project.
Karan Johar had previously announced Dostana 2, casting Lakshya in the lead role. Although Karan initially planned to introduce Lakshya in this film, he made his debut with Kill, which released directly on OTT last year.
Originally, Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor were expected to headline the sequel. However, both actors are no longer attached to the project. Sources reveal that Sreeleela is now set to replace Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. Sreeleela is currently shooting for Anurag Basu’s untitled musical with Kartik Aaryan. Her special number in Pushpa 2 has gained traction in Bollywood circles, helping her gain recognition among filmmakers. That buzz has reportedly led to her being considered for Dostana 2, which is now being directed by Advait Chandan.
Rumours are also swirling about Sreeleela and Kartik Aaryan dating. While there is no official confirmation, their growing proximity has become a hot topic in Bollywood media.
