Minister for MSME, SERP, and NRI Empowerment & Relations, Kondapalli Srinivas, announced that Srinivasa Kalyanams will be conducted across 13 cities in the UK, Ireland, and Europe between 9th November and 21st December. Organised in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS), Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), and local cultural bodies, these events will be held on a grand scale.
The minister said the initiative is in response to requests from various Telugu and cultural organisations abroad and intends to bring a spiritual experience to Telugu communities overseas. On Tuesday, Kondapalli Srinivas released the official poster of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Kalyanams at the Secretariat. The release event saw the presence of event coordinators Surya Prakash Velaga and Venkata Krishna Javaji from Sri Balaji Vedic Centre, Germany, Principal Secretary, GAD (Political), Suresh Kumar, and APNRTS CEO P. Hemalatha Rani, along with other dignitaries.
Speaking at the event, the minister highlighted that APNRTS has been coordinating with local associations to ensure smooth execution. TTD priests and Vedic scholars will perform the rituals following the Vaikhanasa Agama tradition. Local voluntary, cultural, and religious groups are also making necessary arrangements.
Kondapalli Srinivas emphasised the state government’s efforts to collaborate with TTD and local communities to make the events successful. He expressed confidence that large numbers of devotees would attend and participate. Entry to all events will be free, and everyone is invited to join the celebrations and receive the Lord’s blessings.
The minister further mentioned that he will participate in several Srinivasa Kalyanams scheduled between November 9 and December 21.
