Leaders of various tribal organisations felicitated ST Commission member Vadithya Shankar Nayak upon the successful completion of his three-year term. These leaders, along with ST Commission staff, highlighted the dedicated service Shankar Nayak rendered to the tribal community across the State.
On Monday, a felicitation event was organised at the ST Commission office in Vijayawada city. After the completion of his three-year tenure, Shankar Nayak and his spouse were honoured with a grand farewell.
Ramaseshu, Secretary, ST Commission, remarked that Vadithya Shankar Nayak’s tireless work in addressing tribal issues by visiting all districts of the State had been truly commendable. His efforts have led to significant solutions for many of the problems faced by tribal communities.
Vadithya Shankar Nayak expressed his gratitude to the State government for giving him the opportunity to serve the tribal community. He considered it an honour to have been appointed as a representative for the tribal people of the State. As part of his role, he visited remote areas, dense forests and regions like Nallamala to understand the struggles of the tribal people and to address their issues swiftly. He appreciated the opportunity to work with the ST Commission staff and acknowledged their contributions to his efforts.
