R&B Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy told officials and the contractor agency that work on LB Nagar 1,000-bed super speciality hospital should start by May 26.
On Sunday, the Minister asked officials to complete all technical issues before May 26 and that he will visit the site on May 26 and examine work progress.
Vemula enquired about the progress of work on the Alwal 1,200-bed government super speciality hospital. He asked the contractor agency to start footing works.
The Minister also examined the Sanath Nagar Super Speciality Hospital’s structural design and told officials that he will visit Alwal as well as Sanath Nagar Hospital construction sites on May 29.
Vemula said the KCR government has decided to build super-speciality hospitals for the poor. He directed officials and the contractor to complete construction as per plan before the deadline set by Chief Minister KCR.
He said the Chief Minister’s aim is to provide corporate quality medicare to the poor and so the BRS government is constructing super speciality hospitals with state-of-the-art facilities.
The Minister held a review meeting with representatives of the construction agencies and architects at his Erram Manzil R&B office.
The Minister who visited last month and made several suggestions as per the directions of KCR first discussed the progress of the Warangal super multi-speciality hospital. He examined the work on the Warangal Hospital online and enquired about the construction of the main building blocks.
Vemula directed officials to speed up work and asked officials to increase manpower if necessary. He said that he will visit the Warangal Hospital site on June 22 and will check out the work progress.
He asked officials of the contractor company and R&B officials to complete construction before the deadline set by KCR.
