the first time, Telugu Desam party chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Party chief K Pawan Kalyan shared dais to address an election meeting in Tanuku town on Sunday. They called upon people to choose between a destructive administration like YSRCP or a development administration by the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance.
Addressing the largely attended election meeting, Chandrababu Naidu regretted that the State is already on a ventilator and the alliance would help like the oxygen to bring it back to active life, adding that there are several works pending like building the capital Amaravati, the Polavaram project and completing all other irrigation projects.
Asking people whether they want jobs or ganja, Chandrababu said that the common agenda of the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance is welfare of people, development and upholding of democratic values. He asked people whether they want a destructive rule of Jagan Mohan Reddy or development of the State which is possible only by the TDP allied National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Recalling that the TDP joined the NDA in 2014 to save the State from the troubles faced post-bifurcation, Chandrababu said that now again the TDP has become a partner of the alliance to rescue the State from the misrule of Jagan Mohan Reddy. Launching a scathing attack against Minister Karumuru Nageswara Rao, Chandrababu slammed that the minister plundered the properties including lands of people.
Terming Jagan Mohan Reddy as a ‘fake’ fellow, Chandrababu alleged: “YSRCP is making efforts to create ‘rifts’ between Pawan Kalyan and me through fake social media postings.” He added that even the signatures of the TDP and the Jana Sena leaders are being forged. He made an appeal to the people not to trust the fake postings on social media. He reiterated that the TDP, JSP and BJP have joined hands keeping in view the future of the State and the people.
Addressing the meeting, Pawan Kalyan said that the YSRCP leaders had focused only on amassing wealth instead of serving people resolving grievances. The farmers were left to lurch while industrial development was ignored during the YSRCP regime, he criticised.
Pawan Kalyan alleged that the police personnel had not been paid their DA, TA and surrender leave money so far. Jagan Reddy deceived the youth in the name of generating employment, he flayed.
The YSRCP leaders established industries in the neighbouring States with the money which they had plundered in AP, he lambasted. AP needs the cooperation of the Central government for the development. He also underlined the need for the services of Chandrababu Naidu as he has vast experience in politics.
