Krishna District Kho-Kho Association president TSRK Prasad visited the senior women’s kho-kho coaching camp taking place at the SPS Municipal High School at Gudivada in Krishna district on Tuesday. He told the players that Krishna district had produced several national and international players. The State championship will be held at Edara in Prakasam district from November 11-13.
TSRK Prasad interacted with the kho-kho players and gave several suggestions to them. He said that Krishna district had a good name, especially in the kho-kho game. Women players should exhibit techniques and talent and then definitely win the game, he said.
Association representatives felicitated TSRK Prasad. Later, secretary M Prasad said that his association was providing sports kits and travel allowances. He announced the Krishna district women’s kho-kho team that is taking part in the State Senior Women’s Championship. Krishna District Physical Education Teachers’ Association vice-president S Venkateswara Rao, representatives Meera Saheb, Somasekhar and others were present.
