State unstable, govt’s survival in doubt: Sanjay

Must read

The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s rule, stating that the situation in the state is unstable and that it is not clear whether the government will survive or collapse.
Sanjay condemned Revanth’s statement that if the Chief Minister makes one mistake, IAS officers will make three mistakes, calling it shameful.
He asked how a Chief Minister could talk about making mistakes instead of preventing corruption and irregularities, implying that the CM himself acknowledges corruption in his government.
He claimed that the gulf between Ministers and Congress MLAs is widening and that some Ministers have opened their own ‘shops,’ collecting 15% kickbacks on all projects.
He criticised the Congress Government for failing to fulfil promises like providing Rs 56,000 as unemployment allowance to all jobless individuals, scooters and gold for women, PRC and DA for employees, and the waiving of farmers’ loans.
He called the Congress Government a “debt-ridden administration” and
urged people to hold them accountable during the upcoming MLC elections.
Ahead of the Teacher and Graduate MLC elections, a meeting was held at Konda Satya Lakshmi Garden in Karimnagar, attended by BJP district presidents from Karimnagar, Adilabad, Nizamabad, and Medak. Several BJP leaders, including MPs Raghunandan Rao, G. Nagesh, MLAs Katepalli Venkat Ramana Reddy attended the meeting.

In his speech, Sanjay challenged the newly appointed BJP mandal presidents to prove their strength in MLC elections. He said that many election survey agencies like People’s Pulse have predicted a BJP victory in the elections.

He mocked the Congress for failing to find candidates, bringing in outsiders and dismissed the BRS as irrelevant.

He said that he is confident that the BJP would win all three MLC seats and emerge as the main opposition in Telangana.

Sanjay asserted that only the BJP has the right to ask for votes in MLC elections, as it has consistently fought for the unemployed, teachers and government employees.

He recalled how the BJP had protested against GO 317, leading to a raid on his office using gas cutters, lathi-charges and arrests. He emphasised that the BJP had fought for PRC, TA, DA and timely salary payment for government employees, while the Congress had never taken such action.

Reiterating his criticism of the Congress admin as a “debt-riddled government,” he accused it of failing to provide the promised unemployment benefits, gold and scooters for women, PRC for employees, and loan waiver for farmers.

He called on the public to vote out the Congress Government and added that the Modi Government is fulfilling its promises like recruiting 10 lakh employees without corruption. Of this, 9.25 lakh have already received appointment letters. He highlighted tax exemptions of up to Rs 12.75 lakh for salaried employees.

Referring to Revanth’s comments about civil servants, Sanjay asked how a Chief Minister could expect officers not to make mistakes.

He said the CM’s statements indicated a collapsing government riddled with internal conflicts between Ministers and MLAs. Some ministers are extorting 15% commissions on all projects, the CM said.
