Step forward with self-confidence, NTR Dist Collector exhorts girls

NTR District Collector Dr G Srijana has emphasised the importance of girls stepping forward with self-confidence and working hard with discipline to advance in their careers.
She made these remarks while participating in the observation of Anti-Human Trafficking Day, emphasising the seriousness of human trafficking as a crime and the strict consequences under the law for those involved.
Maris Stella College Women Empowerment Cell, Forum for Child Rights, Women Development and Child Welfare, and NTR District Police Commissionerate jointly observed World Day against Trafficking in Persons at the Stella College auditorium in Vijayawada on Tuesday. She administered the oath to the students and later released a poster.
Srijana attended the programme as a special guest and stated that human trafficking is a serious crime with strict legal consequences. She warned that the punishments will not be lenient.
