Stone laid for junior college building

MLC Professor Kodandaram emphasided that education is the key to social change and it would help people attain their goals.
He was speaking at the foundation laying function for a new state-of-the-art Government Junior College building in Shadnagar,. The event, led by local MLA Veerlapalli Shankar, was made possible with the generous contributions of donors for the college building estimated at a cost of Rs10 crore. In his address, Professor Kodandaram highlighted the significance of education in achieving social respect and personal growth. He remarked that society would honour educated individuals and called for education to be prioritised over everything else. He also expressed concern that education has become commodified in today’s world, urging students to focus on learning as a tool for societal improvement.
