Former Telangana BJP President Sanjay appealed to all party leaders to stop filing complaints with the high command by going to New Delhi at least now.
He also requested the leaders not to play games with the lives of party activists as they are working hard for the party to attain its goals.
He said that many believe that the BJP is the only alternative to the BRS and asked the party leaders not to damage the party’s activists’ morale by filing complaints with the high command.
“Some filed complaints with the high command against me. Stop giving false reports to the high command. I request BJP leaders to allow the new Telangana BJP President, G. Kishan Reddy, to work peacefully with full freedom. Kishan is a leader who works hard for the BJP,” he said.
Sanjay said that BJP leaders should move ahead united and ask the party’s cadres to work for its ideology.
“I went to jail twice after becoming the President of the Telangana BJP unit. I am not important but the party is important,” Sanjay said.
Once again Sanjay became the hero of the day at a meeting held at the State BJP office on the occasion of Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy taking over as the Telangana BJP President formally on Friday. BJP workers cheered Sanjay when he addressed the meeting.
Sanjay said that all leaders and party activists extended full cooperation while he was the President of the Telangana BJP unit. “I have the satisfaction that I worked hard for the party and that is enough,” he said.
Sanjay stressed that the BJP wants to end the neo-Nizam rule in Telangana and protect BJP activists.
“Many BJP activists were injured in lathi-charges and some are facing non-bailable cases. They are the real heroes. The BJP activists working in the Old City are heroes,” he said.
Sanjay said that the Congress and the BRS have no guts to organise a public meeting at the Bhagyalaxmi Temple and that BJP is the only party that has the guts to do that. The Congress and the BRS may conduct meetings at the Bhagyalaxmi Temple after performing ‘Namaz,’ he said. But the BJP organised a meeting after conducting a pooja at the Bhagyalaxmi Temple. That is not Charminar but Bhagyanagar where Bhagyalaxmi Ammavaru resides, he said.
“The Old City is not yours. It is ours and every basthi is ours,” Sanjay declared.
He said that the BJP activists have to fight against dictatorial, family rule. Kishan started the war as President of the Telangana BJP on Thursday itself. But the KCR government blocked Kishan when he was going to inspect double-bedroom houses in Batasingaram. The BJP will not let off KCR, he said.
Sanjay said that KCR is asking the Pay Revision Commission (PRC) to play down the news of Kishan Reddy taking over as President of the Telangana BJP unit thinking that the report may come on the front page. KCR wants to show his face on the front page, he said.
He said that KCR is making the Congress campaign that the BJP and the BRS are one. The Congress should be ashamed of this, he said.
