As a part of Cyber Jagrookta Diwas Cyber Crimes, Rachakonda, in coordination with Rachakonda Security Council organised an awareness programme on โCyber Stalking and Cyber Bullying and Trending Cyber Fraudsโ for over 1000 third and final year engineering students at the auditorium of Vignana Bharathi Intuition Engineering and Technology College at Ghatkesar. All the sub-inspectors under the Police Commissionerate of, Rachakonda organised Awareness programmes under their police station limits also.
B Anuradha, DCP, Cyber Crimes, Rachakonda, has delivered the keynote address to students. He exhorted the students to take safety measures while using mobiles and social media platforms. She also suggested that they not share personal information with unknown persons on social media platforms as well as in regular life to avoid cyberstalking and cyberbullying. She reiterated that most of the victims fall into the trap of cyber stalkers because of their negligent online behaviour. She also suggested the use the mobile phones and digital technology judiciously to ensure better studies and a bright future.
