A group of students staged a rasta roko at Chatlamada village in Peddaraveedu mandal demanding the officials to take steps to repair the road leading to their village.
The students squatted on the road raising slogans demanding the officials to take steps to repair the damaged road. The students said that they were studying at the government at Maddalakatti village. The road leading to the village is in a bad condition.
The road was so badly damaged that they could not walk on the road.
Even the 108 ambulance could not pass on the road, the students said.
The students said that they took the issue to the notice of the minister when he went to their village during the Gadapa Gadapaku programme but steps were not taken to repair the road.
