Emphasising that the Telangana government is developing a Health Data Exchange for secure medical data access and collaborating with CDAP to provide subsidised compute infrastructure for AI startups, Special Chief Secretary to the IT Department, Jayesh Ranjan addressed the AI Healthcare Summit 2025 at T-Hub The summit was organised by the Department of Science and Technology’s MATH (Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technology Hub). Addressing the summit, Jayesh stated that Telangana has been a leader in adopting AI, especially in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. He mentioned that since 2019, the State has focused on building a strong AI ecosystem, and in 2020, Telangana became the first State to launch an AI framework. He highlighted that as Hyderabad becomes India’s data centre hub, the State is working with hyper scalers to enhance AI-driven healthcare solutions. Jayesh also emphasised that the Telangana government is committed to creating a thriving AI ecosystem that supports startups and businesses in transforming healthcare through technology. He concluded by saying that the AI Healthcare Summit 2025 is a crucial step in this journey, acting as a platform for collaborations that will shape the future of AI-powered healthcare.
