CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka commented that today the state is surplus with power only due to the establishment of power plants with excessive generative capacities during the Congress governance. “Thus, only the Congress has patent rights over the uninterrupted power supply in the State. We have an abundant administrative skill in producing quality power and supplying it to farmers,” Bhatti said.
Bhatti, here on Friday, inspected the arrangements for Congress Vijayabheri public meeting to be addressed by AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday.
He also reviewed the stage and helipad. He suggested to ACP Ravi not to compromise with the security arrangements. He appealed to the people to make the meeting a huge success by attending it on a large scale.
While speaking on this occasion, Bhatti said the BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao and its leaders are campaigning against the Congress’ six guarantees as they were gripped with the fear of losing the battle with them. Congress aimed at distributing public wealth generated over a period of time to the public, and hence six guarantees were announced, he said and questioned why they were not to be believed.
The CLP leader also wanted to know from the BRS leaders as to whether the public fortune must be distributed to people or consumed by rulers by apportioning it among them? “What is the intention of KCR behind his campaign of not to believe the six guarantees? Only to swallow public means for another five years,” he questioned.
Surplus power credit must go to Cong: Bhatti
