Sushanth, who will next be seen starring alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi in the upcoming film BholaA Shankar, speaks to the Hyderabadi media about working alongside his idol, his character in the film, and more.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar, directed by Meher Ramesh is the most awaited film from the actor. The movie also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, national award winning actress Keerthy Suresh and Sushanth in key roles, while Ramabrahmam Sunkara is producing this big budget entertainer.
While the movie is all set to hit big screens on August 11, actor Sushanth, speaks to the media sharing insights about working with megastar, his character, and more.
Sushanth has been taking up interesting roles that are coming his way of late. Regardless of the length of his character, he came on board this upcoming movie because he idolizes Chiranjeevi and he got very excited the moment he heard that he will star alongside the megastar. “The thought of working with Chiranjeevi is very exciting for me. When I was a child, I used to attend his song shoots and practice dancing while watching him. When Meher Ramesh talked about this movie, I liked the narration a lot. He said that there will be a dance number too where I get to shake the leg with the Megastar. Sharing the screen with Megastar is a blessing. I am very excited for the film.”
Watching megastar and working with him are two different things. Although Sushanth knows Chiranjeevi pretty well off screen, when he worked with him for this movie, he realized how comforting the megastar is with his co-stars. He said, “Something that’s very special about Chiranjeevi is that he keeps everyone in their comfort zones and has fun with everyone and cracks jokes.”
The most interesting part about the duo is that, according to him, they were dancing together. Since he had to dance alongside the Megastar, he used to practice for more than two hours everyday for the song. He shared, “I called Sekhar Master (smiling) as it’s been a long time since I did any dance. I practiced for two hours with Sekhar Master to ease my body. I used to practice even after going to the sets. Chiranjeevi is sitting and practicing in his mind. The song came out very well. It is very colorful. This song is a major highlight of the movie.”
About his character, the Current star revealed that he will play a cameo and that he’s got a very charming character in the movie. “I have important scenes with Chiranjeevi, Keerthy Suresh and Tamannaah. I enjoyed shooting this movie a lot. My first movie heroine was Tamannaah. In Bholaa Shankar, however, we did it as brother and sister. Meanwhile, I am very happy that my chemistry came across pretty naturally with Keerthy in this movie,” he shared.
For the unknown, Bholaa Shankar is a remake of Tamil superhit movie Vedalam. However, in the Telugu version, many changes have been made to the story, including to that of the character of Sushanth, which is why the Ravanasura star didn’t watch the original to take any reference from the movie. He is happy that changes have been made to his character in the Telugu version as he explained, “My character was designed in a very fresh way. There are some high-stake scenes as well. I was very well presented. I am very happy with the look. My role in Bholaa Shankar is like a fresh breeze.”
On the other hand, the actor is working on two stories and he will announce them after the release of this movie.
