Suspended IAS officer gets posting  

Suspension can be a brief halt in a bureaucrat’s journey; it need not be the end of it. Senior IAS officer Girisha, who had been suspended as Collector of Annamayya District at the behest of the Election Commission following complaints, has got a reprieve. Interestingly, his suspension was revoked after he gave an explanation to the higher authorities concerned. He has now been posted as Managing Director of the AP Housing Corporation Limited in place of K Venkat Rami Reddy, who has proceeded on medical leave for one month. Venkat Rami Reddy has been asked to report to the General Administration Department after his leave ends.
