Former Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu has said that the Swarna Bharati Trust is providing selfless service to the rural people by conducting free medical camps and organising various self-employment courses.
He inaugurated a free medical camp organised by the Ayush Hospital at the Swarna Bharathi Trust at Atkur of Ungutur Mandal in Krishna district on Sunday. As many as 500 people attended the medical camp. Later, Venkaiah Naidu presented prizes to the first, second and third rank holders who studied in the ZP and government high schools in the Gannavaram, Unguturu and Bapulapadu mandals.
Speaking on the occasion, Venkaiah Naidu said that Swarna Bharathi Trust was also distributing medicines.
Further, he said the Trust was conducting courses and training camps to empower the youth and women in society. He praised the efforts of the Swarna Bharathi Trust.
Former minister Dr K Srinivasa Rao, Trust Director Paradeshi and others were present.
