T-Hub bags Best Incubator award

The T-Hub won the ‘Best Incubator in India’ award on Monday at the National Start-up Awards 2022 function on National Start-up Day.T-Hub emerged as the winner in the category due to its efforts to support the growth of the start-up ecosystem in Telangana.

The hub was awarded in the presence of Piyush Goyal, the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution & Textiles and Som Prakash, the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry.

T-Hub’s contribution to innovation, entrepreneurship and ecosystem development has been recognised at the national level among 55 other incubators.T-Hub excelled in funding raised by start-ups, sector focus, strong market connects, partnerships and the overall impact created in the start-up ecosystem spanning 2,500 plus start-ups.

T-Hub’s start-ups have raised almost USD 1.9 billion with 3,000 plus strong market connections and has created 12,000 plus jobs. The level of impact that T-hub has achieved is unparalleled compared to other incubators.

T-Hub will be receiving support for its business growth, mentorship, funding, partnerships, and market access opportunities and will serve as a role model for other entrepreneurs. The third edition of the National Start-up Awards 2022 recognised outstanding start-ups and enablers, which have demonstrated exceptional capabilities not only in terms of financial gains, but also in a measurable impact on society. The National Start-up Awards 2022 invited applications from 17 sectors, which were further divided into 50 sub-sectors and seven special categories.

Industries Minister KT Rama Rao congratulated T-Hub in a tweet. Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan said, “Governments typically don’t excel in this area, but by studying and meticulously learning from the best practices of others, T-Hub can become a national leader in the field. This is important for the country as it can serve as a blueprint for other organizations to follow and create a more vibrant and successful start-up ecosystem in the country. By setting an example of excellence, T-Hub is helping to pave the way for a bright future for entrepreneurs in the country.”
