The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday apprehended two government officials while they were demanding and accepting bribes. The suspects, a Tahsildar and a Revenue Inspector from T Sundupalli Mandal in Annamayya district, and a Village Revenue Officer from Satyavolu village in Prakasam district, were subsequently arrested and presented before the special ACB court.

The incident came to light after a complaint was filed by G Prabhanjan Reddy of Erramanenipalem village, near T Sundupalli Mandal in Annamayya district. The ACB officials acted swiftly and apprehended the accused officers while accepting Rs. 40,000 as part of the bribe.

In a separate incident, G Shankar of Ganapavaram village, near Nadendla Mandal in Palnadu district, reported being subjected to bribery by Village Revenue Officer P Venkateswarlu from Satyavolu village secretariat at Racharla Mandal in Prakasam district.
