Takkallapalli Srinivasa rao elected CPI state council assistant secretary

The three-day CPI state council held at Hanamkonda elected Takkallapalli Srinivasa Rao and N Balamallesh as assistant secretaries to the state executive, while the meeting elected Hanamkonda district secretary KarreBikshapati as invitee to the state executive.
Disclosing  this to media here on Sunday, state secretary  of CPI KunamneniSambasiva Rao said that Takkallapalli Srinivasa Rao joined AISF during his student days and held various positions in the orgranisation grew step by step. First, he served as president of Karnataka AISF and later went on to become AISF national president and general secretary. He represented the country  in youth festivals held in various countries and represented the country in several student and youth activities. Later, he became united Warangal district assistant secretary and later he became district secretary. He played crucial role in building huge movements in his capacity as CPI district secretary. During the past three decades he built movements to fight people’s issues. Currently, he is working as CPI state executive body member prior to his elevation as assistant secretary.
Speaking on the occasion, Takkallapalli Srinivasa Rao thanked the CPI state council members and party state and national leaders for inducting him as assistant secretary.
He said that he would spare no effort to strengthen the party in the days to come. CPI national secretary Dr K Narayana, state secretary and Kothagudem MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, state executive members Palla Venkat Reddy, Pasya Padma, BagamHemanta Rao, Kalavena Sankar, Bala Narsimha, ET Narsimha, VS Bose and others took part in the event.
