Talasani Srinivas Yadav inaugurates 210 two-BHK flats

Minister for Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Thursday inaugurated 210 2-BHK flats at SPR Hills.

The total cost of these flats is Rs 1,785 lakh. Following the inauguration, the Minister said, “The Telangana government has waived the dues of the beneficiaries who were granted Indiramma houses through subsidy by the previous governments. More than one lakh 2-BHK Dignity Houses are being constructed in Hyderabad to ensure that the poor could live with dignity.”

“Construction of 210 double bedroom houses with seven lifts in two blocks in Kamalanagar at a cost of Rs 27,50,000 has been completed. It was undertaken at a cost of Rs 16 crore and the infrastructure works were undertaken at a cost of Rs 157.50 lakh,” Yadav added.
Shedding light on the facilities in the newly inaugurated flats, the Minister said, “Along with 100 KL liter capacity water tank and electricity facility, 15 shops have also been set up for this colony. For each double bedroom house, Rs 8,50,000 has been spent.” Rent received from these shops will be used for maintenance.

The Minister went on to say, “Distribution of houses has been done to 89 beneficiaries, and the remaining 121 will be given to them soon after inspection by the local MLA and revenue officials. He said that they are providing double bedroom houses in order of priority to those who have Aadhaar, current bill, water bill and ration card and are residing locally. A special committee will also be appointed for this purpose.”

People living in notary houses will be given house titles through GO 58. He said that bus facility, fresh water, accommodation, drainage and other infrastructures have been provided to the residents. The Minister said that money should not be given to brokers in the allotment of these double bedroom houses and these will be handed over transparently. He said that already constructed double bedroom houses have been provided to the beneficiaries in Muralidhar Bagh. He said that the title deeds of double bedroom houses in Erragadda will be handed over to the beneficiaries soon.

In place of the previous houses in Kamalanagar, a new building complex with modern facilities has been constructed and given to the poor for free.  He then handed over the house keys to the five people.

Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath said “House plates are being distributed in the festive atmosphere. He said that the double bedroom houses which could not be built by the previous governments will be built in the shortest possible time with full government funds and will be given to the poor people free of cost.  The people of Kamalanagar should not be disappointed, that everyone will be allotted double bedroom houses in a phased manner. He said that the concerned revenue officials will check the locality of the beneficiaries and allocate the house plots through lottery.”
