Nandamuri Tarakaratna, the grandson of Telugu Desam founder and former chief minister N T Rama Rao, called on TDP national general secretary and MLC Nara Lokesh on Tuesday.
It is learnt that they discussed political issues during their meeting. Nandamuri Tarakaratna is the brother-in-law of Nara Lokesh. Their meeting assumed significance in the backdrop of the announcement of Tarakaratna that he intends to contest for the Assembly in the next elections from AP.
According to reliable sources, Tarakaratna is planning to contest the Assembly in Andhra Pradesh and he has already decided from which constituency he should contest. It may be mentioned here that Nandamuri Tarakaratna earlier visited many districts to strengthen the party.
