TASK signs MoU with TS police on cyber security

The Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda Commissionerates on Sunday observed Suraksha Day as part of the 10th Telangana Formation Day. Rallies and expos were held across the city.

The Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) signed an MoU with the Telangana police regarding cyber security and road safety in order to spread awareness regarding cyber security activities, interaction for exploring areas of mutual cooperation in the field of cyber crime awareness and capacity building.

A rally displaying the Blue Colts and patrol vehicles involved in response to dial 100 was organised at Tank Bund. Areas including Liberty, Abids, Mojamjahi Market, Ravindra Bharati, Iqbal Minar, BR Ambedkar Secretariat, Indira Gandhi statue, Necklace Road and Sanjeevaiah Park were covered during the rally.

Hyderabad Commissioner of Police CV Anand shared glimpses of the rally and said, “Some glimpses of the rally of police vehicles at 9 am showcased the addition to Telangana Police Patrolling System and Dial 100 emergency response in the last decade.”

Telangana Director General of Police Anjani Kumar took to Twitter and said, “Telangana Police is renowned for its robust and efficient system, making the state the safest in the country. At the Suraksha Dinotsavam, the latest advancements in the  @TelanganaCOPs Patrolling System, Dial100, Fire Rescue Vehicles,Women Shuttles, Blue Colts, etc. were showcased.”

Telangana Home, Prisons and Fire Services Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali attended the rally. The fire services department also displayed various vehicles and fire safety equipment near the BR Ambedkar statue at Hussain Sagar.

The Cyberabad police organised a drone show and a striking drill; special force personnel also conducted a sychronised march at AMB Mall and the ITC Kohenur main road.  A total of 500 drones displayed  synchronised choreography to form the shape of Telangana state and its achievements in the last decade.

A rally was conducted from the LB Nagar camp office to DSL Mall, Uppal.  Police officials also conducted a march at the Telangana State Police Integrated Command & Control Centre (TSPICCC) at Banjara Hills, Road No 12.
