TDP criticising Jagan govt out of frustration Hails CM for developing govt schools under ‘Nadu-Nedu’ scheme

Kesineni Srinivas Rao (Nani), the YSRCP coordinator for the Vijayawada Parliament segment, has hailed Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s commitment to the development of government schools through the Nadu-Nedu programme. Nani praised the initiative, highlighting its impact on enhancing the infrastructure of government schools, enabling underprivileged children to compete effectively with their counterparts in private institutions. He emphasized the government’s dedication to the welfare of all sections of society, particularly those facing economic challenges.
Responding to criticism from TDP leaders, Nani dismissed their comments as fuelled by jealousy and frustration.
He asserted that Chandrababu Naidu, the former chief minister, lacked the credibility to critique the YSRCP government and labelled him a ‘failed leader’.
Nani remarked, “Chandrababu Naidu has appointed party leaders solely to criticise those who join our party. Their positions seem to be determined by the extent of their verbal attacks against us. The real question is whether they are contributing anything positive to society. This is a query that should be directed at Chandrababu and Nara Lokesh,” he added.
Accusing Chandrababu Naidu of hasty foundation laying for the Chintalapudi lift irrigation scheme during the TDP government’s tenure with an estimated cost of Rs 5,000 crore, Nani alleged that this move was driven by a desire for personal gain through commissions. Additionally, he claimed that Naidu showed negligence towards kidney patients in the A Konduru region.
About Nara Lokesh, Nani described him as a “good-for-nothing individual,” questioning Chandrababu Naidu’s real estate holdings in Andhra Pradesh, aside from the ancestral property in Naravaripalle. Nani concluded by predicting that the 2024 elections would mark the end of Chandrababu Naidu’s political career, suggesting that the former Chief Minister might relocate to his home state of Telangana after an electoral defeat.
