Telugu Desam Party (TDP) activists on Thursday led by district TDP president and ex-MLA GV Anjaneyulu took out a rally from Muga Chintalapalem in Bollapalli mandal to Bollapalli on Thursday to mark the completion of 200 days of padayatra by Nara Lokesh.
The TDP leader garlanded the statues of TDP founder NT Rama Rao and Dr.BR Ambedkar at various villages during the rally.
Addressing the crowd on the occasion, GV Anjaneyulu said that Nara Lokesh had completed 2,710 km in 200 days in his padayatra. Nara Lokesh carried out his padayatra successfully without any break, he lauded. The people are giving a warm welcome to the Lokesh at all places, he claimed.
Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is shivering at the overwhelming response from the people to Lokesh’s Padayatra. The overwhelming response to Lokesh padayatra is indicting the downfall of YSRCP, he alleged.
“The YSRCP Ministers and MLAs are resorting to corruption in a big way. The YSRCP leaders are plundering the public wealth in a big way and they have amassed lakhs of crores of rupees so far. Jagan Mohan Reddy has a strong wish of amassing huge wealth,” Anjaneyulu lambasted.
“Vinukonda MLA Bolla Brahmanaidu and the Chief Minister have forgotten the promises which they have made for the development of Vinukonda and providing amenities. The YSRCP-led government could not construct the Varikapudisela project during its four-year tenure. The YSRCP government crippled the Rs 600 crore water grid project meant to provide drinking water to the people of the constituency,” Anjaneyulu stated.
“The people of the state are observing the anarchic rule of the YSRCP government. The people of the state were disenchanted with the YSRCP misrule and they will teach a lesson to YSRCP in the next elections,” GV Anjaneyulu predicted. TDP leader Pemmasani Nageswara Rao, Bareddy Venkateswara Reddy, and other leaders were among those who took part in the rally.
