Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA Yeluri Sambasiva Rao has alleged that efforts are being made in a big way to remove names of TDP supporters from the voters’ list.
Addressing a meeting in Darsi on Sunday, the YSRCP government had ignored the development and public welfare and indulged in misdeeds including plundering of natural resources.

“Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is in the grip of fear of defeat. He understood that people would not vote for the YSRCP in the next election. After coming to that conclusion, the YSRCP has launched efforts to remove votes of TDP supporters and admirers from the voters’ list in a big way. We will not allow the removal of a single vote from the voters’ list. We will fight against the removal of voters from voter lists democratically” Yeluri Sambashiva Rao made it clear.

“A conspiracy was hatched to remove 10,000 votes in Parchur constituency under the pretext of fake votes. One person applied to enroll hundreds of votes in the Parchur constituency. The TDP will ensure that all eligible voters will cast their vote in the next election and the TDP will fight a battle with the election officials regarding removal of voters indiscriminately,” the TDP MLA vowed, describing the removal of votes as ruining democracy.

The YSRCP leaders began plundering natural resources including sand from the first day of assuming office; he criticized, alleging that the ruling party leaders created artificial scarcity for sand resulting in the price of commodities skyrocketing affecting the construction sector.

Yeluri Sambasiva Rao lashed out that liquor of YSRCP leaders’ own brands is being sold in the government liquor shops and the ruling party leaders plundered hundreds of crores of rupees by introducing a new liquor policy. The sale of drugs including ganja is rampant in the state; he regretted stating that the drugs are running the lives of youths.

MLA Yeluri Sambashiva Rao called upon the TDP cadres to strive hard to win MLA seats in Parchur with a 25,000 vote’s majority. Earlier, the TDP MLA garlanded the statue of TDP founder and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao. Chirala TDP in-charge M Mondaiah, and other leaders including Nallapuneni Rangaiah Chowdary, Poda Veeraiah and Naidu Hanumantha Rao were among those who were present.
