YSRCP MLA Gottipati Ravikumar has alleged that the votes of TDP sympathisers are being removed from the electoral roll in a big way and demanded an inquiry on the irregularities.

Talking to the media in Addanki on Friday, the TDP MLA said the votes of TDP sympathisers were being removed, violating the guidelines of the Election Commission. The election officers are resorting to irregularities to remove the votes of TDP sympathisers, he slammed.

“Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is in the grip of fear of defeat. That is why, the government is deleting the votes of TDP sympathizers from the voters list. The Election Commission should conduct a comprehensive inquiry on the deletion of a large number of votes,” Gottipati Ravi Kumar demanded.

The TDP MLA also demanded to stop conducting inquiries about the applications applied online. He appealed to the voters to check the voters list to find whether their votes existed in the list or were deleted. He expressed concern over the misuse of official machinery to delete the TDP sympathisers votes in a big way.

“As many as 4,16,064 fake votes were added to the electoral roll with ‘0’ door number. The YSRCP leaders are trying to come to power once again using the fake votes,” he flayed.

He criticised the Booth Level Officers for not conducting verification of voters properly. At many places, the BLO conducted verification by sitting in the local YSRCP leader’s house. The TDP MLA asked the TDP leaders and cadres to be alert and fight against the irregularities in a coordinated manner and verify the voters list often.

“We will launch a legal battle against the deletion of TDP sympathizers’ votes. The details of the officer who signed the documents were collected in this regard. We will not spare the officials who are responsible for the deletion of TDP sympathizers’ votes,” Gottipati Ravi Kumar made it clear.
