The Union Tourism Ministry said that the KCR government has been adopting an escapist policy to cover up the shortcomings of the ‘Dharani Portal.’
The Ministry said that the BRS government has been hiding behind the private company to ensure that its mistakes are not exposed.
It said that the BRS government has been creating new problems instead of creating confidence among the people regarding Dharani. Moreover, the BRS government has been taking undemocratic, dictatorial steps against those questioning it, the Union Ministry said.
The Ministry said that the government, which was supposed to solve the problems of farmers due to the Dharani Portal through Village Revenue Officers (VROs), had abolished the VRO system totally.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Union Tourism Ministry, headed by Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy, said that the 9-year KCR rule is looking like Nizam’s rule.
The Ministry said that the Centre has been issuing property certificates through Swamitva Yojanan without any problems, but the BRS government has been troubling people without solving the problems of farmers created by the Dharani Portal.
In the context of changing technology data privacy is crucial. However, in the case of the data of government websites and government-related matters, the full responsibility lies with the government. The government should be held responsible for any problem arising regarding this. In the case of Dharani too, the TS government should take responsibility in data-related matters. But the government ignored the public’s problems and the concerns of farmers and unnecessarily created a new wave of controversies, the Ministry said.
This problem has become bigger due to the KCR government’s impression that all problems caused by human error can be solved with technology, the Ministry said.
Due to the decisions of the state government, an additional burden has fallen on collectors. As if this is not enough, in trying to set right problems, the government’s incompetence has been exposed clearly, the Union Ministry said. The Centre is providing property certificates and title deeds to the poor without any problems through ‘Swamitva Yojana.’ But the BRS government is continuously failing, and public problems are not being solved, the Ministry said.
