Telangana pitched as the Future State City to be a skill capital of India: Minister Sridhar Babu

Minister of IT, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce Sridhar Babu stated that Telangana government aims to make Hyderabad as a skill capital of India and across the world, during the third edition of CREDAI Property Show organised by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (CREDAI), at Nagole on Friday.
Minister Sridhar Babu, along with Malreddy Rangareddy, MLA Ibrahimpatnam, inaugurated the three-day event in the presence of CREDAI Hyderabad leadership team, member developers and other stakeholders, all showcasing the latest advancements in the real estate sector.
The Minister said, “The Telangana government is focusing on qaulity of life for its people. For this, we have connected with prominent leaders and members of IT industries and urban administration to make a portfolio which improves quality of life for Hyderabadis. We have already launched ‘Look East concept’ where we focus on developing eastern part of the city by setting up IT or software park, five star hotels, convention halls, pharma industries, hardware industries such as semiconductor industries. We are also bringing up a comprehensive net zero city where we focus on lesser pollution and more on quality of life. We are also planning to implement Outer Ring metro rail extension.”
Following Skill University, Sports University will also be set up soon.  Apart from that many centres of excellence such as AI, semiconductors and hubs will be launched.
V. Rajashekar Reddy, President, CREDAI Hyderabad, said, “Hyderabad’s real estate industry is thriving and rapidly expanding, fuelled by proactive state governance.  Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was on a recent trip to USA and South Korea, wherein he mobilised an on-trip investment of Rs 31,500 crore (approximately) and pitched Telangana as the Future State, and the vision of Hyd 4.0 to the global business community. This would create an immediate job opportunity of approximately 30,750 for the State.”
 B. Jagannath Rao, General Secretary of CREDAI Hyderabad, “Hyderabad’s real estate market has witnessed remarkable growth, and with the policy to spread the growth across the city, East Hyderabad is not far behind. This part of the city has registered a CAGR growth of 31 per cent in the total value of unit sales from III CY19 to HI CY24. This region has witnessed a 98 per cent increase in sales of units and 89 per cent growth in unit sales value for the same period.”
