The financial resources of Telangana are not enough to pay interest for the loans taken by the BRS government, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said.
He said that it is a fact that the Congress government could not implement some of its assurances given to the people during elections.
He said the delay in implementing welfare schemes is due to the KCR government’s financial imprudence. The Congress Government will implement all its assurances, he added.
He said that it is a fact that the state has financial problems and that the Congress government will strive for the welfare of the poor after solving its financial problems. Ponguleti said that due to KCR admin’s policies conditions in hostels have become miserable. The KCR government kept children in sheds of old chicken and dairy farms and in dilapidated rundown buildings.
The BRS government didn’t provide good food and children faced lots of problems, he said. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is constructing integrated schools in place of residential schools and they will have adequate facilities.
