Telugu version of Sam Pitroda’s book launched in Hyderabad

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday launched the Telugu version of Sam Pitroda’s book “Redesigning the World, A global call to action.”
The Telugu version is translated by Poludasu Narasimha Rao and has been edited by Dr D Chandrashekar Reddy. The book is titled “Prapanchaniki Kotharupam iddam. Kadalirandi”‘ in Telugu. Pitroda joined the event virtually.
The chief guests included MM Pallam Raju, former Union Cabinet Minister. Guests of honour included Madhu Yashki Goud, former MP, Parakala Prabhakar, Vundavalli Arun Kumar, former MP, Madan Mohan Rao, MLA, Uma Reddy Venkateshwarlu, former Union Cabinet Minister, V Lakshmi Narayana, N Sambasiva Rao and KN Kumar.
Giving an overview of the book, Pitroda said, “This book titled “Redesign the World” Prapanchaniki Kotharupam iddam, Kadalirandi” is a very insightful description of global issues with absolutely clear identification of problems faced in the world and root causes for the same. Sam also suggested through this book a clear manifesto as a pragmatic and feasible solution to the global issues well identified.
Sam Pitroda lays emphasis on three unique dimensions of information technology, democratisation, decentralisation and demonetisation which have allowed us to change the world order. Democratisation through the Internet enables and empowers all to have access to knowledge, education, entertainment and shopping. Decentralised access to banking, health care and transport is enabled by hyper connectivity in this new world. Mobile wallets, payments and banking offer digital platforms will profoundly impact the future of our society and civilisation.”
