Mercury soared in Telanagna on Sunday with rural parts of the state recording temperatures as high as 45.9 degree Celsius.
Kondapur in Mancherial recorded 45.9 degrees followed by Jannaram, Mancherial (45.8), Kawal Tiger Reserve (45.6), Jagtiyal (45.5), Kumaram Bheem Asifabad (45.4), Nalgonda (45.1) and Nalgonda (45).Â
Meanwhile, in Hyderabad temperature touched 41 degrees which was recorded in Khairtabad. Secunderabad recorded 40.7 followed by Asifnagar (40.6), Bandlaguda (40.5) and Musheerabad (40.2).
The Indian Metrorological Department, Hyderabad centre, has said that dry weather is very likely to prevail in Telangana for the next four days. As for Hyderabad, for the next 48 hours, it will remain partly cloudy. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 41 and 27 degree Celsius respectively.
