Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) president Jaganmohan Rao said that students will not be allowed directly but complimentary passes will be provided to the respective schools based on the requests made by the school principals. On Thursday, executive members, along with Jaganmohan Rao reviewed the arrangements for the India versus England first test, which will be held at the Uppal Stadium.
Jaganmohan Rao said, “We have prepared guidelines to allow the students of government schools and government recognised schools to watch the test match for free. Students from VII to XII standard will be allowed and they should come in school uniforms. We are providing free food and drinking water to the students. For this, school principals should send the number, names of students and staff coming to the HCA’s email id (ceo.hydca@gmail.com) before the January 18.”
For the comfort of viewers the rooftop works and new seats have been arranged.
The players’ dressing rooms, repair works, sanitation works and other modernisation works will be completed early”, he said.
