TG Police comes to rescue of people in heavy rain

Hyderabad city witnessed heavy water-logging in some parts of the city due to heavy rain since Saturday, leading to disruption in traffic.
Hyderabad City Police requested people to stay at home and avoid going out unless absolutely necessary during the heavy rain. Also avoid walking or driving through flood waters. Apart from these, the City Police have advised people to keep themselves away from the electric poles, power lines and trees.
Also commuters are requested to drive slowly and safely, because during heavy rain roads are more slippery. The motorists are requested to keep a safe distance between the vehicles to avoid accidents.
City Police have helped many commuters during the heavy rain. They cleared water-logging areas to clear the traffic disruptions. Two police constables of Panjagutta patrol cleared water-logging in heavy rain near Ameerpet market.  
Panjagutta Traffic Police, with the help of citizens, removed fallen tree branches and normalized the traffic flow at Vengal Rao Park towards NFCL Junction.

Also City Police helped citizens and motorists to go safe on wet roads.  

Police once again proved their dedication and resilience in the Mahabubabad district incident. A portion of gravel under the railway track near Kesamudram in Mahabubabad district was washed away due to floodwaters, stranding passengers on a train at Kesamudram railway station. 
In order to alleviate their difficulties, Rural CI Sarvayya, SI Muralidhar, and other staff provided food, water bottles and biscuit packets. Director General of Police Dr Jitender appreciated the Mahabubabad district police personnel for their commendable efforts.
District SP, DGP Dr Jitender, congratulated head constable Taqiuddin and constable Ramu for their immediate response and bravery to save the life of a person who was drowning in NagarKurnool. In Warangal district, roads are flooded with the rain water. Police helped evacuate those stranded in water-logged localities.
Due to heavy rainfall, water-logging occurred on the Bachupally to Gandimaisamma road near Angara Restaurant. This caused heavy traffic, with vehicles getting stuck on the road. Miyapur traffic police dug the road and installed a new pipeline for rainwater drainage.
Three buses got stuck in the flood at midnight at Kodada Srirangapuram in Suryapet district and Kodada town police rescued the passengers safely even in the heavy rain.
