In a significant step toward strengthening international relations, Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Ganabatirau Veeraman, Deputy President of Malaysia’s Selangor Province, met in Kuala Lumpur to explore mutual areas for collaboration. The meeting, facilitated by Tconsult and chaired by Sundeep Makthala, aimed to deepen ties in education, technology and cultural integration, marking a new chapter in India-Malaysia partnerships.
Held at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hotel, this high-level dialogue brought together Sridhar Babu and Veeraman to discuss the strategic potential of cross-border cooperation. Tconsult, a Hyderabad-based consulting organisation, played a crucial role in coordinating this dialogue, underscoring the expanding influence of Telangana on the international stage. Both leaders highlighted Tconsult’s contribution in enabling such initiatives, with Ganabatirau expressing his gratitude for the honour of representing the Telugu diaspora in Malaysia.
Central to the discussions were innovative programmes aimed at enhancing skills and educational immersion. Plans were laid out to initiate programmes for Malaysian students, enabling them to visit Hyderabad for skill development training. “This collaboration is not just a diplomatic gesture; it’s a real step towards nurturing the talent of tomorrow,” noted Sridhar Babu, emphasising the transformative impact of upskilling initiatives.
In a gesture to further solidify the partnership, Sridhar Babu extended an invitation to Ganabatirau to visit Telangana. He outlined the State’s advancements in digital infrastructure, highlighting the importance of Telangana’s efforts to create an inclusive and tech-driven society. Additionally, Sridhar Babu urged Tconsult to organise further government-to-government meetings aimed at bringing tangible benefits to the citizens of both regions.
