TG shooters bag 8 medals at XV South Zone Championship

Telangana shooters shone with victory at the XV South Zone Shooting Championship 2024, held from October 13 to 20 at the Saragarhi Shooting Academy in Velachery, Tamil Nadu.
The event showcased over 250 athletes from southern states. Telangana stood out with 8 medals, including 3 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze.
According to the Shooting Championship, Raiyan Faisal Yousufuddin won gold in the 50M Small Bore Free Rifle Prone Junior Men. Amaan Ali Khan claimed two golds in the 25M Standard Pistol Junior Men and Men categories. Dhavalika Devi Nyamurs secured two silver medals in the 50M Small Bore Sport Rifle Prone Women and Junior Women.
Other medalists include Mahender Pal (silver), Nagendrudu Vanamala Pedda (bronze) and Gaurav Sharma (bronze). Amit Sanghi, president of the Telangana Rifle Association, appreciated their efforts and hoped for more success in future events. The championship featured various categories across different age groups.
