TG’s CBSE results impress with 99.73% pass rate

Telangana has once again recorded stellar performance in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 results, with 99.73 per cent of students clearing the exams. Out of 8,443 students who appeared from the State, 8,420 passed, marking one of the highest success rates in the country. The exams were held between February 15 and April 4 across 95 centres affiliated to 146 CBSE schools in Telangana.

At the national level, the overall pass percentage stands at 88.39, a slight improvement from 87.98% last year.

Telangana Ekalavya Model Residential School Society (TEMRS) reported a 99.92 per cent pass percentage in the CBSE Class 10 results. Of the 1,294 students who appeared, only one failed. Among the top scorers were M Shankar with 660 out of 700, followed by Avire Ranjith with 647 and Chaitanya Rathod with 635 marks. Impressively, 22 out of 23 schools under TEMRS recorded a perfect 100% pass rate.

Among standout performers in Telangana, Hyderabad Public School (HPS) announced a 100 per cent pass rate. All 66 students cleared the exam, with notable scores in individual streams: Srija secured 97.8% in commerce, Maheeka Raj followed with 96.8%, Karthikeya scored 93.6% in Mathematics and Soumya led Humanities with 93.2%.]
