This is a high budget film in Naga Chaitanya’s career with top producer Allu Aravind backing up this project. Bunny Vasu of Geetha Arts is producing it. Sai Pallavi, the female superstar is playing the female lead. Chandoo Mondeti, who worked with Naga Chaitanya earlier, is the director. The story is based on a true story that happened near Srikakulam. Naga Chaitanya is playing a fisherman and Sai Pallavi is love interest.
The producers in their interaction with media said that they wanted to add Naga Chaitanya in the Rs 100 crore club, with this ‘Thandel’. They are confident because of the story and also the female lead Sai Pallavi, who cements her place in Down South with a huge fan following.
