‘The Kerala Story’ director Sudipto Sen and the film’s heroine, Adah Sharma, had an accident on Sunday in Mumbai when they returned after attending a private function. Both Sudipto Sen and Adah Sharma have been hospitalised.
Sudipto Sen was scheduled to attend the Hindu Ektha Yatra on Sunday at Karimnagar. He is now not in a position to attend the Hindu Ektha Yatra due to the accident.
Sudipto Sen tweeted regarding this saying, “Today we were supposed to visit Karimnagar to talk about our film at a youth gathering. Unfortunately, we could not travel due to an emergency. Our apologies to the people of Karimnagar. We made the film to save our daughters. Pls keep supporting us #HinduEkthaYatra.”
It may be recalled that Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who is the organiser of the Hindu Ekta Yatra, invited ‘The Kerala Story’ director Sudipto Sen and producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah to the Hindu Ektha Yatra along with some members of the film unit.
Sudipto Sen had agreed to attend the Hindu Ektha Yatra. In fact, Assam Chief Minister Himantha Biswa Sharma attended the Hindu Ektha Yatra along with Telangana BJP in-charge Tarun Chugh and others.
